Installation
of mcc® CafeTimer 1.0 as Server for main computer
| 1. Run the downloaded program. |

| 2. After running of program, following window is displayed. |

| 3. Click on Next to continue. This will display following window. from
where you can choose the installation folder. |

| 4. After selecting installation folder, please click on Next and choose
Server Installation from the option for installing as Server. |

| 5. As you installing as Server, be sure that your selection on Server
Installation and Click on Next. |

| 6. Before install mcc® CafeTimer as Server, be sure that you have
selected Server installation with runtime files and click on Install for
installing. |

| 7. After copied necessary files to installation folder. This will displayed
following window. |

| 8. If you have check the Lunch MCC CafeTimer Server 1.0, this will run
the mcc® CafeTimer 1.0 Server automatically. |
Installation
of mcc® CafeTimer 1.0 as Client for other computer(s)
| 1. Run the downloaded program. |

| 2. After running of program, following window is displayed. |

| 3. Click on Next to continue. This will display following window. from
where you can choose the installation folder. |

| 4. After selecting installation folder, please click on Next and choose
Client Installation from the option for installing as Client. |

| 5. As you installing as Client, be sure that your selection on Client
Installation and Click on Next. |

| 6. Before install mcc® CafeTimer as Client, be sure that you have
selected Client installation with Runtime Files and click on Install for
installing. |

| 7. After copied necessary files to installation folder. This will displayed
following window. |

| 8. If you have check the Lunch MCC CafeTimer Client 1.0, this will run
the mcc® CafeTimer 1.0 Client automatically. |
Installation
mcc® CafeTimer 1.0 as Client for other computer(s) in Multi-PC system
Installation of mcc® CafeTimer 1.0 as client for other computer(s) in Multi-PC
system. All the process is exactly as installation of mcc® CafeTimer 1.0
as Client for other computer(s). Only one process is different that is selection
of installation folder.
We must give different installation folder for different user of Multi-PC system.
Note : Be sure that installation folder is unique than previous
installation folder.
Running
of mcc® CafeTimer Server for First Time
Please follow the following steps for Running mcc® CafeTimer Server.
- Click on Start --> Programs --> MCC and Select CafeTimer Server 1.0.
- If you are running Windows XP, you may ask for unblock the software.
- After this software may display following window.

- Click on OK, this
will display Rate Manager for setting amount as per time basis.

- After setting of Amount, Click on Save. This will save all your amount.
- After this, You must have to give your username and password for accessing
main window of mcc® CafeTimer Server.
- For the first time, software has configure for username and password as
"demo".

- After successfully login, then it will displayed Main Window of mcc®
CafeTimer. But remember, after login, you must have to change password for
demo account for security. You can see below some example of menus which is
displayed when in Vacant stage, clicking on white space and menus which is
displayed when occupied stage.

Running
of mcc® CafeTimer Client on Client Computer(s)
Please follow the following steps for Running mcc® CafeTimer Client.
- Click on Start --> Programs --> MCC and Select CafeTimer Client 1.0.
- You will see the following window with RED ICON. (if client software is
connected to Server, then the ICON will be changed into Green).

- In this stage, your client computer is automatically locked as well.
Configuration
of mcc® CafeTimer Client for connecting mcc® CafeTimer Server
When you see mcc® CafeTimer Client is not connected to Server. You must
have configure your client. Configuration of Client is as follows.
- Click on Admin/Staff Login of following window displayed.

- After clicking of Admin/Staff Login, this will display following window.
For the first time of Admin/Staff Login, software has configure the username
& password as "demo". After login, you must have to change password
for security. (If your client is already connected to Server i.e. ICON is
green, username & password of Server will work for this.)

- After successfully login, this will display following window.

- Click on Configuration for configure client. This will display following
window.

Server Name
name of computer in which mcc® CafeTimer Server is running
Display Name
display name in Server (unique identification of your client computer
in Server)
WallPaper
Display of picture, in Lock stage.
UserName
default username "demo".
Password
default password "demo". (you must change this after first login)

- After clicking on Save. The configuration setting will be saved and Client
tries to connect to Given Server. After getting server this will be connected.
Starting
Session on mcc® CafeTimer
When your customer (not prepaid member) enter in your cyber and get sit in
one of your client computers. You must start session using following steps.
- Select appropriate client display name.
- Right Click and Select Start Session OR Press F7 OR click on Start Session
button on ToolBar. This will display following screen. (This screen is displayed
only for DEMO version of this software.)

- Click on Close (if this screen is displayed.).
- Please choose session type. After choose session type this will displayed
as follows.

- Click on Start Session for starting session.
Closing
Session on mcc® CafeTimer
When your customer (not prepaid member) has finished his work and get back
to you for payment, you must close the session using following steps.
- Select appropriate client display name.
- Right Click and Select Close Session OR Press F8 OR click on Close session
button on ToolBar. This will display following screen.

Adjust Amount
Adjust Amount if there is more than you expect.
Print Bill
If your customer wants to get bill, Please select the alignment of paper
and click it for Print.
Close Session
Close the session.

- Closing session will automatically add usage log into database which can
be viewed as Report.
Transferring
of Session from one computer to another
When your customer wants to change the computer to another computer, you must
have to change the time and other details to respective computer. You can change
the session from one computer to another by using following steps :
- Select appropriate client display name.
- Right Client and Select Transfer Session OR click on Transfer session button
on ToolBar. This will display following screen.

This will show from which client you want to transfer.
To
Target computer display name.
Transfer Session
This will transfer session from From computer to To computer. |
Pause
and Resume Session
When your computer has some error(s) and needs to pause session for particular
computer, you must follow the following steps :
- Select appropriate client display name.
- Right Click and Select Pause Session OR Press CTRL+P.
- This will pause the session.
If you want to resume the session for paused session, follow the following
steps :
- Select appropriate client display name.
- Right Click and select Resume session or Press CTRL+P again.
- This will continue the paused session.
Adjust
Time
When your wants to adjust time for particular computer, you must follow the
following steps :
- Select appropriate client display name.
- Right Click and Select Adjust Time OR Press CTRL+A. This will display following
screen.

Change
the Display Name
When your wants to Change display name for particular computer, you must follow
the following steps :
- Select appropriate client display name.
- Right Click and Select Change Name OR Press CTRL+N. This will display following
screen.
- If your client computer is connected, changing name will also change the
display name in client configuration.
Start
Chat with Client (Customer)
When you want to say something to your customer and can't say due to mass,
you can send text message using mcc® CafeTimer.
- Select appropriate client display name.
- Right Click and Select Start Chat OR Press CTRL+C. This will display following
screen.
- You and your customer can talk (chat) using mcc® CafeTimer.
Add
PrePaid Scheme
You can define your prepaid scheme by following steps :
- Click PrePaid Management-->Add PrePaid Scheme. This will display following
screen.

New --> Add new scheme.
Modify --> Modify the selected scheme.
Save --> Save the changes.
Delete --> Delete the selected scheme.
Close --> Close the window.

Adding
PrePaid Member
You can add prepaid member by following steps :
- Click PrePaid Management-->Add PrePaid Member. This will display following
screen.

UserName --> username for prepaid user
Password --> password for prepaid user.
PrePaid Scheme --> PrePaid scheme, which you have
created.
PrePaid Scheme (button)--> Display PrePaid Scheme
Window.
Add PrePaid User (button) --> Adds your prepaid user. |
- Adding of prepaid user will enable to your user to login from client computer
using PrePaid username & password from PrePaid window.
- System will show balance time for prepaid user.
- If prepaid user is logged in using username & password, Member sign
will be displayed in Server (Control Centre).
- Same prepaid user cannot login twice at the same time.
PrePaid
User Management
You can management your prepaid member by following steps :
- Click PrePaid Management-->PrePaid Management. This will display following
screen.

New --> Add new prepaid user.
Modify --> Modify the selected prepaid user.
Save --> Save the changes.
Delete --> Delete the selected User.
Print Details --> Prints the details of prepaid user
including usage information.
Close --> Close the window.
Delete Expire Account(s) --> This will delete the
accounts which has no balance time as well as delete expire account(s). |
- You can change the valid period, change password, change balance time as
well.
PrePaid
Temporary PrePaid Member
mcc® CafeTimer is able to generate short period prepaid member. We have
called it 'Temporary Member'. From this feature, you can generate 'Temporary
Member' and give username & password to your user.
- Click PrePaid Management-->Temporary PrePaid Member(s). This will display
following screen.

Delete --> Delete the selected TempUser.
Modify --> Modify the selected user.
Close --> close the window.
Delete Expire Account(s) --> Delete TempUser whose
account has been expired.
Print Temp User Details --> Prints UserName, Password,
Valid Days and Total minute allocated to Temp User in 3 Column 6 Row in
A4 Paper (18 user in one page).
Generate PrePaid User --> Generate Temporary PrePaid
user. |
- You can change the valid period, change password, change balance time as
well.
Staff
Management
Staff are those, who can login in mcc® CafeTimer Server and control your
cyber cafe. You can management staff by following steps :
- Click Staff Management-->Admin/Staff Management. This will display following
screen.

New --> Add new staff.
Modify --> Modify the selected staff.
Save --> Save the changes.
Delete --> Delete selected staff.
Close --> Close the window.
Please note that you must have one Super Admin for administer the Server
and you can't use "admin" for username because "admin"
is protected by system. |
- You can change the rights, change password as well.
Client
Mode (Running server as Client)
If you want to give your server to your client as client, mcc® CafeTimer
Server can be run as Client Mode. Please follow the steps for running Server
as Client Mode.
- Click Client -->Client Mode OR Press F2.
- Click on Yes to run server as Client Mode. You can see the following window
for prepaid user login.
- If your client is prepaid member, let him give enter his username &
password for access.
- If your client is not prepaid member, you must start the using Admin/Staff
Login. Clicking on Admin/Staff Login, you will see the following window.
- Please give your Admin/Staff username & password. After authentication,
you can see following window.

Session Type --> PostPaid/PrePaid
Session
Member Name : If you want to enter member name, you
can enter member name here.
Start Session --> Starts the session as per your
selection in Session Type.
Admin/Staff Logoff --> Display the PrePaid Member
window and logoff admin/staff login.
Switch to Server Mode --> closing client mode.
View Previous Session Details --> Display the previous
session details. |
Viewing
Report
You can view various types reports from following steps :
- Click Reports --> View Reports, you can see the following window

Report of Usage Log-->Display
the usage log of client computers.
Details of Item Sold --> Display the report of Item
Sold.
Details of PrePaid Member --> Display the Report
of PrePaid member.
Details of PrePaid Member Usage --> Display the usage
log of PrePaid member.
Report of Adjustment made --> Display report for
adjustment made.
Report of Cash Collection --> Display the report
of Cash collection.

- After selecting appropriate report type, click on View Log, which will display
the following window.

you can customize the report by using Period and your client computer
as well.
Clicking on Refine Report will display the reports in
this window by using your selection criteria.
Clicking on Print Report will display the report for
printing purpose. |
General
Administration
For easiness, mcc® CafeTimer has some extra features and we called it as
General Administration, from where you can administer mcc® CafeTimer as
per your requirement.
Client Computer Management --> Please see above in Running
of mcc® CafeTimer Server for First Time
Config --> this will show the following window for configure
the mcc® CafeTimer as per your requirement.
You can choose different option for what action should be taken or what menu
should be display or not.
Item Management -> This menu will bring the Sold Item Details,
you must add some product/services before to sell to your customer.

New --> Add new Item.
Modify --> Modify the selected Item.
Save --> Save the changes.
Delete --> Delete selected Item.
Close --> Close the window.

Rate Management --> Please see above in Running
of mcc® CafeTimer Server for First Time
Database Backup --> This will backup your database in selected
folder.
 |
Browse --> Choose the folder for backup.
Backup Database --> Backups database in selected folder. |
Database Restore --> This will restore
your database from selected folder to pre-defined folder (system folder)
 |
Browse --> Choose the folder in which
you have kept the backup database.
Restore Database --> Copied database from selected
folder to system folder. |
Send Purchase Request
If you want to purchase full version of mcc® CafeTimer. Please follow the
steps for send your request.
- Click on About --> Purchase Request. Following window is displayed.
- After filling up the online form, click on submit. This will submit your
purchase request to us and we will contact you in given email address or phone
number as soon as possible.
Registration of Software
After receiving the amount for full version, we will put registration details
into our internet server. You can obtain the registration details by following
steps below :
- Click on About --> Register Program. This will take around 30-60 seconds
to complete the registration. (it depends upon your internet connection speed
as well.). This will display following window and download the necessary information
from the internet.
- This will automatically register the software after information is downloaded
from the internet and display the following confirmation window.
- and you must restart mcc® CafeTimer 1.0 for using registered version
